Today, our members support the advancement of education, the arts, social and civic reform, and gender equity. The University Women’s Club is affiliated with the Canadian Federation of University Women and with the International Federation of University Women.
The Club has made its home in the historic Ralph Connor House since 1939.
The University Women’s Club of Winnipeg was founded in 1909. Club members were determined to improve the profile of women in the community by taking part in the struggle to gain the vote and to improve wages and working conditions for women who otherwise did not have a voice.

COMING IN THE FALL OF 2012
Some of us have been wondering if there is any interest in starting an investment group at the Club. It is a great way to learn about the options for investing and improve financial literacy. The main purpose of the group would be financial education. Please contact Ruth Berry or Nelma Fetterman if you are interested in being part of this initiative.
